Like you also said, its not possible.
It isn't squid that is appending the .world.india to the request, it's
the client. Squid is just logging what it gets.
You try parsing the log file with a `sed -e s/\\.world\\.india//', but
this may also remove other things you may want.

sorry I have made a mistake,
An interpolated (not really accurate but fair) number of current clients may be
given by :
- MRTG
- Some figures in cachemgr.cgi :
General Runtime Information : number of clients
Client-side Active Requests : no numbers, but details (on long requests)
Basic User Authenticator Stats: number

Cache Manager has a page with this info that is available if client_db is
turned on in squid.conf. You just refresh the page in your browser and
Hello
If you whish you use MRTG graph for your squid,
I will recommend you to use "Cacti".
It is an open source.
You can download it at http://www.cacti.net/

When we configure I.E. to use squid-2.5.STABLE6 as a proxy, squid
inexplicably uses HTTP/1.0 to get the page, even though the browser
used HTTP/1.1, and the server offered HTTP/1.1.
Here's the redacted request that the browser sends:

Squid is not HTTP/1.1 compliant yet, and claiming otherwise
Thanks for the reply; it raised another question in my mind. You mentioned
the benefits of 64-bits is limited, can you elaborate on that? What are the
benefits of going 64-bit? Will the caching be faster?
Thanks for reading,
