Guys, don't get all worked up over design theft. I repeat, Accucraft did ask,
through a third party, if it was OK to use my design for their tender before they
started building it. It was indeed OK, and they didn't steal anything. I offered
it freely, they asked if they could make it a produ

That's likely possible but the thing I don't care for is that the coupling
points are so far out from the wheels. On my tender I have placed them as
far inboard as possible without interfearing with the movement of the front
tender truck. On the loco the connection is just to the rear of the rea

No problem there -- I posted the plan with the intent that others use it, and I
knew beforehand that they were going to use it for one of theirs. Tony

Is the tender being manufactured by Accucraft or by St. Aubin Station? St. Aubin

I'm told that they used my plans for the tender for "Miss Ruth Hill", which are

I've seen them in person but didn't have a camera on-hand to snap photos of
them. I might be able to answer any specific questions you have. :)
The IV's are cute as buttons people, very nifty extention of the loco.

I think I've seen this discussed here recently but couldn't come up with in

Does anyone have any pics of the Ruby IV (Ruby with a tender and gauge) that
St. Aubin Station is selling for $569.89? So far my searchs have come up empty
handed. Anyone seen it?

Hello. I'm Trent, and I'm a New Bright basher.
Clark, I hadn't thought of the New Bright tenders as possible donors. Thanks
for the idea.
I bought two complete New Bright sets at a garge sale last summer for $15.
The lady was very adoment about informing me that they didn't work. I

Aristo Craft makes a tender for their c-16 that would work, or perhaps a
Bachmann 2-4-2 tender. Both would look good behind the Ruby. I don't
know if anyone's offered commercially a simple 4 wheel tender or not.
