Second, you don't really give us enough information to go on to help
you understand what the issue is - do you *know* you have enough disk
space?

I've got an odd situation where I have pfSense set up with a Captive
Portal and transparent Squid, pulling from an upstream (commercial)
proxy. If I configure Squid with the upstream proxy, it pulls from it
for a few seconds (high load network), then just stops referring to
