after changing the variable to 'True' the Accounts Manager works
normally again,
and i can now make new email accounts.

I changed the variable to 'true'. I closed seamonkey and re-opened
seamonkey, and the account manager wizard
was working good a

So please dont be offended by the info - i realise you already know most
of these steps already.
I should have mentioned in my description that it is just as applicable
to pop3 email accounts as well.

This does NOT work - the spiral goes
around in the black "YouTube" display
for a second or so, then vanishes, and
