I am trying to transfer a profile from iceape to seamonkey2 on 64 bit
system runing Debian Squeeze following mozillaZine "Moving Your Profile
Folder" article.
Failure: Started profile manager, created tom - the name of the iceape
profile - and used chose folder to specify the path to this profile.
Downloaded seamonkey-2.0.tar.gz into /usr/local, uppacked it, went to
/usr/local/seamonkey and ran ./seamonkey from a terminal window.
Seamonkey started at the home page with the following output to the
terminal window:

Seamonkey crashes when I enter www.cnn.com with the error message
(seamonkey-bin:25788): gdk-CRITICAL

My system is Debian Sqeeze, ATM 64 2x Dual Core Processor.
I suspect the problem may be with plugins, lack of plugins. I h
