Basically yes. Also what Gabriel wrote about is multiprocess (e10s). Also not Quantum and somewhat older. SeaMonkey does not implement it yet and if we would do you can flush most classic extensions down the drain. Mozilla solved it by killing all of them with 57 and go Web Extension. FRG
