We don't use any water in our toilet. We use a sawdust toilet, very simple, no odours. This raises an issue everyone seems to have missed so far - water isn't the only problem with flush toilets. The other problem is with what's flushed - waste disposal. What a term. Try to find such a thing i

That's unnecessary. As a female in the US without a bidet, I can assure you that not all of us flush after each use. Even at the home of my sister who is married to an anti-environmentalist, they only flush on solids. Liquids and associated paper are accumulated until that time. I do the same
