Peter,
Then please just change the link in the wiki, so that it's easy for any user
to get the most up to date perl scripts.
If anyone was of a different opinion, they could easily change things back,
providing they took the responsibility to see that the ftp mirror always
holds the most up to
Wolfgang,
That would just change the text for Rev 1:1, surely?
Book names are parsed by imp2vs, else otherwise how would it know that
Revelation => Revelation of John
And the books in the IMP file can be in any order within each testament
section,
yet they still get compiled in the proper order

There is a test utility, tests
I made those adjustments after the default settings failed to locate the
modules in my user home directory. After clearing the environment variable
and setting /etc/sword.conf back to /usr/local/sword, the command line tools
still fail to locate my modules.

Why this instead of /usr/share/sword? What you're basically making
sword do is repetitively look in the same directories which may cause
problems. The default SWMgr constructor (which is presumably used

Do you have /etc/sword.conf? If so, what are its contents?

Fixing that problem with the autotools shouldn't be overly difficult, but I
don't know if it is desired.
And I'm not installing the library to .sword, rather I'm installing modules
there both by hand and with installmgr. Sorry for the confusion.

Sword keeps stressing me out whenever I try to build with autotools on a new

I did not have ICU installed, because I don't care about its functionality.
Rather than default to not build with ICU or error and tell me I need to

If you're asking about the Windows package then I intend to use 1.6.2.
However, I will use whatever

Dear Btohers,
Troy's solution worked, even though the module was generated from an OSIS
file.
In the end, I changed the ThML to OSIS to be proper (and it still worked).
Thank you very much for your help and interest.

Hello David,

Maybe it will recognized as the last book so the previous real
Revelation will be shown up.

Thanks Wolfgang, but that didn't work for me.
Does the "fake book" have to be a recognizable Bible bookname, e.g. for the
Apocrypha?
Or would any bookname do?
Can you give me an example of something that works, from this line onwards?

On the other hand, it might not be a missing string in the IMP file, it might
just be a software bug in imp2vs.
If so, it needs fixing as soon as possible, please.

Just made some diagnostic progress.
I moved the epistle of Jude to after Revelation in the file WEB.raw.imp.txt
Then I remade the WEB2 module using this edited file.
Hey presto! This time the book of Jude was empty and the book of Revelation
compiled OK.
This strongly suggests that something
When I used the command
utils\imp2vs Import\WEB.raw.imp.txt -z -o .\modules\texts\ztext\web2
the resulting WEB2 module has blank entries for the book of Revelation.
The Import file was derived using mod2imp. The issue is not unique to this
module.
When testing the resulting defective WEB2 mod
