I'm fairly certain that this is the wrong place to be asking this
question, so if someone could direct me to the right place, I'll be very
grateful.
I have a verse-by-verse commentary I want to add to Sword, to appear as a
notes file in the right window. Can this be done? And, if so, how?
I'm finding that the Strong's reference numbers are missing from large
portions of the New Testament. Is this just a bad install, or is this
still in progress?
Thanks.

a comment applies to a passage and not a single verse, it is a little
trickier. Instead of a single value for an osisID you create a space
separated list of all the verses.
e.g. osisID="Gen.1.1 Gen.1.2 Gen.1.3"
The trick is to create a conf that declares that it is a commentary.

If so I believe the version for downloading may still not be updated to
include all the strongs.
At least this summer it was still the old KJV from 2003 not completed.
Troy would know the answer to this.

As suggested, I re-downloaded the KJV with Strong's, and sure enough, they
all seem to be there.
Thanks much!

PMFJI, but when I bought my ESV, I received a CD with the Bible that had the
text of the ESV and the KJV, in parallel fashion.
Didn't everyone get this CD?

Isn't this against the rules?
No.
