I'm in Marseille, France on business and got to watch that race live on TV.
And it was the usual story for a big championship: there was no rabbit, and
no one wanted to lead. Thus they jogged for half of the race or so, and

I am surprised that there has been so little discussion of the World
Indoor Championships. Two things stand out for me:
1. The Men's 1500. How can the 1500 be won is such a slow time? The
NCAA Division III meet had a faster winning time! The only logical
explanation for such a slow time is t

I have always noticed that big guys are more likely to dislike indoor tracks
compared to little guys. So toss height of center of gravity into your
calculations or would it be momentum? Does a big, heavy guy have to
dedicate a larger percentage of his energy into turning himself around? T

Another way to look at this is from an X-Files view. There was mention
of the IAAF forming a new US group and discrediting USATF. If you
remember, Ollan Cassell (former USATF head) was a major IAAF crony for
way too long, and surely is still a major player behind the scenes. He
