I didn't hear Carol's remarks (even though I was sitting right behind her at
the Garden as she was doing her job) but could it be that she was referring
to the Armory track when it WAS flat? Remember it was flat, bare wood for
many years before it was redone (without banked turns) then redone ag

Heard on the Millrose TV Broadcast during the Men's 4 x 400 - " Most of
these runners have trouble with the banked turns since they run at the
Armory Track which is flat."
Hey Carol, the Armory Track is Banked! Since the Nationals were there
last year. you might have noticed that!
