I think the best we can hope for out of 2004 will be a 2nd entrance and
better crowd control. That front entrance was a nightmare. An event that
big will always draw folks that don't normally attend such events and
hate those that do because we stand and enjoy the meet. Plan on that
whole section
I know nothing about "ideal size" of stadia for track and field but if
Sacto is contemplating being an attractive venue for the sport and
hosting in '04. it needs to address the totally poor seating situation
as far as fans being able to see what's happening on the track.
