That looks like a good direction. From the wiki [1] amenity=shelter (>139,000 uses[2]) seems correct. No entry for shelter_type for palapa, but shelter_type=sun_shelter[3] (even with only 152 total uses[4]) is probably close enough. Thanks! [1]

There are some structures on a beach I’d like to tag which I believe are called a palapa [1]. Not my photos, but there are images of others on the web, for instance [2] and [3]. I don’t see anything under ‘palapa' in the wiki. And while there are some things I see in taginfo that have “palapa”

"tourism=artwork" is used for "public art". I think "public art" is not related to indoor/outdoor basically. There are many "indoor public art" and "outdoor private art". An artwork in an entrance hall of a city hall is "public art" I think. This museum has many outdoor artworks in its private

Some exceptions? Some could be on the roof .. and therefore 'outside' and visible from outside. Some could be visible through a large glass 'window' from the outside. the On 7/24/2016 7:38 PM, Simon Poole wrote: Isn't this a bit of a non-question, given that neither the indoor, nor the

Isn't this a bit of a non-question, given that neither the indoor, nor the level tag is currently imported in to the rendering database, so you really only have the option of testing if the object in question is in a building outline or not (which may be a bit expensive). Simon Am 24.07.2016 um

In my opinion, adding indoor=yes on every single indoor object doesn't make sense, as we know they are indoors because they are inside a building area and possibly have some indoor tags like level=*. Le 24/07/2016 à 00:42, Daniel Koć a écrit : We are on the way to render artworks on osm-carto
