for the purpose of putting the machine to sleep.

I've got this combination on my desktop and WE responds extremely slowly in the
email list when I try to cursor up or down. It is so slow that Outlook is
unusable. Is this because the combination of Office2016 and Windows7 isn't

On Windows 10 I went into the start menu, Windows System, Command
prompt, context menu, more, open file location. This lands you on the
shortcut file. I went into properties and set the keyboard shortcut to
Control-Alt-D and for it to run maximized.

First, turning off Read first 24 lines in browse mode has nothing to do
with your problem. You're only in browse mode when reading messages. The
problem there is with the automatic reading being interrupted. And the
solution was to turn off everything else other than Read first 24 lines.

Don't know why this makes a difference but on my HP laptop running
Windows 10 and WE 9.4 if I first put the laptop in sleep mode then close
the lid it seems to recover from sleep mode with WE talking. If you
simply close the lid thus putting it in sleep mode then open the lid WE
