Over the years, many blind users have wanted to use Kindle for PC
Thanks so much for everyone’s help on this. I got the program working and can
download and read books now. I can download books without using the web site. I
believe the book I can’t read is a PDF file. There are possible ways to work on
that later, but my first hurdle is cleared. Thanks again.

Amazon customer service and Microsoft Accessibility were very nice but couldn’t
help.I did a clean reinstallation of Window-Eyes 9.2 from the CD. The Kindle
app works now. I wonder if a Window-Eyes app was causing this or
The podcast was great, and I’m glad to learn of the shortcut keys. The podcast
gave helpful information that the size of the accessible file is much larger
than the standard file. I have saved the link for future reference. However,
again, I say,Window-Eyes 9.2 reads nothing.

The Kindle for pc, (the accessible version and not the standard version), works
partially with window-eyes, menus and books selection, and read the buttons
layout can be read OK, but to hear the book you must use the kindle's internal
voice.
Certainly amazon can do much better job

Kindle for PC APP and found it inaccessible., I then remembered that they had
an accessible downloader. I found it and downloaded it. However I still can’t
