I too am keeping an eye out for getting a newer system, and also have
the same sort of questions as many when it comes to which Windows
edition will work best with Win eyes.
I know that some like Win 7, and Win 7 is easier if all you

No, this is not correct. XP support has ended, but Windows 7 support goes
through 2200.

What are you basing your belief that support for win7 has ended. It will
continue, according to Microsoft, until at least 2020.
And it is always possible that it may go beyond that date.
Many manufacturers and pc builders are offering Win7 as an option and are

confirm that late as yesterday, my computer received Important Updates
from Microsoft that needed to be installed. That is most definitely on a
Win7 machine. If they still send out updates, why would anyone so
