How very unfortunate actually, last week, 4 speakers have presented our
community at OpenData Namur, so that means that they were not aware of
our presence there! And it was all about the community.
But it went beyond OSM. This was a perfect opportunity to come visit.
In fact we talked to a jou
Hallo Nicolas,
that's great news. More publicity is welcome.
Since I only experimented a bit with umap, QGIS and do some occasional
OverPass query I won't be able to help you much with the seminars I fear. I
hope there are more experienced users of those tools will chime in.
However, I fear that

Typical answer we get is "I don't deserve this" (not only from her, I gave
the same answer and others did that as well :-) ) And we keep ourselves as

Dear,
As I told Julien, Gael (former president of OSM-fr) and Jo, I have been
meeting yesterday with journalists from LaLibre.be / the IPM media
group (also DH). La Libre Belgique (http://lalibre.be) is probably one
of the best French speaking newspaper.
I had met them at a crypto/datajourna

OSM Inspector is useful - in Brussels region - with the adresses.
For example in the view "Adresses", "connection lines" of "nearest roads",
errors in names are detected when the addr:street tag of the buildings
(UrbIS import) differs from the name tag of the highway.
Changing a dash - or a iota

I think overpass may also do they job... But setting up a query may also
mean it's already built-in into maproutelette and kept up-to-date.

I'm a newbie, and I want to make a change in Brussels (say a new street was
created). I look at the other names, and see they have a name:nl, name:fr
and name tag, the name tag contains both names separated by a dash. So I
add my street using that principle.
Do you really think newbies would look
In the name itself, there are no spaces around the -. So the separator
between to languages is really " - " including the spaces.
We do have a problem for a very few streets which have 2 names because they
are on the border between two municipalities and which we want to give 2
names to be "lingui

Bonjour,
J'ai ajouté une analyse spécifique aux zones multilingues dans Osmose.
Elle n'est pour l'instant active que sur le Maroc et pour la région de
Bruxelles.
Pour Bruxelles l'analyse s'attend à retrouver les tags name, name:f
I can give it a go, I'm doing a tile server setup right now with the
Belgian data. I'm having a bit of a postgresql issue (actually it is

I'll give it a try

Hi Guys,
I agree, I was also thinking this weekend to finally start doing a
maproulette challenge! We could use this opportunity to find mistakes and
fix them.
A few ideas are here:

Basically what it comes down to is this:
- Import an OSM-dump into
