Hi Rob It seems that if we are thinking about charitable organisation we need to be careful about whether we are talking about “aims” or “objectives”. Quoting : http://www.ces-vol.org.uk/about-performance-improvement/about-monitoring-evaluation/planning-for-monitoring-evaluation/aims.html

[Talk-GB] Updating maps

2016-01-04 Thread Adrian Berendt
I made a change to openstreetmap.org last month, to correct Calverley Park Gardens in Tunbridge Wells to be the B2249 (previously showing as the A264). Whilst this appears on the map when I open it, when I look at other maps based on openstreets, such as http://www.kenttraffic.info/, it's still

Hi Adrian, It rather depends on where they are getting their map tiles from, and how often those are updated. Users are really supposed to generate their own. Here at traveline south east (www.travelinesoutheast.org.uk), for example, we have two different

Thanks for the fast response Stuart. I can see on your website that once you go to the right level, the road shows as the B2249, which is good. Kent Traffic shows it as the A264 at all zoom levels. I'll contact KCC to see when they propose to update. On 4 January 2016 at 10:55, Stuart Reynolds

That’s what I like to see - 3 different changeset notations! FWIW, since I have just this moment uploaded some changes, I used #OSMschools as that seemed to offer both the hashtag and also the designation of the “schools” project. However, how do we to track this progress? Are we matching

Thanks Dudley, I loose track of the definitions you sometimes get in business, and to confirm we are looking for "aims" here. The objectives would be the "projects" I mentioned in a previous email. The bit on "use" probably does need expanding as Robert W also mentioned it. If anyone has any

Hi Stuart, Yeah #OSMschools works well (if the hashtag is missed then it will still appear in my search so no need to worry). At the moment we have a few ways to track progress - for more info see http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/UK_Quarterly_Projects#Progress_trackers Best, *Rob* On 4

Hi all, Can you please add "OSMschools" to your changesets so that we can track them. For now you can see any changest with "school" in the comment at the following site but this isn't restricted to our UK project - hence the request to use "OSMschools".
