When I send a message from TB using an Exchange account with a
reference to an existing profile on the computer, messages are not
really sent!
TB says they're sent (also in the log) and they go to the Sent folder,
but people do not receive them and when I open Outlook, they are in

Cannot confirm. I also use MAPI Echange protocol on one of my accounts and
have no problems. All messages sent by The Bat!

I have installed fresh 3.98.1 and even Addressbooks option is enabled, no
item including All addressbooks is checked.
BTW I agree, Autobackup must be disabled and TB should display question on
first start, if user wants to have thsi feature enabled or not.

in previsous version, when uses tries to check updates manually, dialog
with text no updates available appeared.
There is no such dialog in 3.98.1.

Well, all I do is to send a message from TB using those settings.
