connecting to mail server

I have 2 mailboxes, They both worked fine for 3-4 days. Now suddenly one works and one doesn't. Didin't change any settings. It just won't connect to the mail server now, any ideas? It was working sporadically, but now seems to have stopped altogether. I can't send mail either.. Am sending thi

[OT] Relliable backup tape system

I have a pair of 8 Gig HP Colorado tape drives that I've used for some time. One has quit entirely, and the other is getting quite unreliable. HP suggests 'discarding them' - can't be fixed. I have about 12 Gigs on the computer with the tape drive, and about 20 Gigs on the local net. I'd apprecia
