I realise this has been DEAD-HORSED, so this will be my final posting. I
just wanted to clear things up, because I didn't understand the original
request properly. I totally agree that TB should not show inline HTML images
by default. My desire was an option to show images attached to the message
Hi Kent
I'm sure I missed this somewhere (if I did, please direct to where),
but I was wondering is there a way to get the images to display when
viewing HTML messages? I have a constant connection and would love for
these messages to be complete. I have some messages that I get
Hi
What do you mean by saying that? Do you _really_ want that all that
.html .ra .qt .scr .swf attachments will
render/play/saving-your-screen/etc. upon the message view?
I wouldn't want any other types of attachments to do anything automatically,
but images - yes (perhaps it could be an
Hi Kent
I would just like a HTML message to display all of the images :
Me too. :)

Hi Abigail
If there is to be a change in future releases of TB, PLEASE allow this
to be an option, with the DEFAULT setting being to not download
images.
This is just my preference, but for me it is a main reason that I
switched to TB - I don't have a fast connection, and TB's automatic
Hi Olivier
I'm not sure if this will work, but it seems to be working fine for me. Go
to mailandnews.com and set up an account with them (it's free). Now go into
TB and set up your SMTP server to mailandnews.com. Then select
"Authentication", tick "Perform SMTP Authentication" and "Use specific

Perhaps it's some sort of legacy limitations from the old message base
format. Just IMHO :-)
I worked this one out - if it's a message sent in HTML

Hi Thomas
AD 1. Why does the attachment message flag not appear until you actually

AD on the message?
It does in the current TB version. It was a mishap in one of the older
ones.
I'm confused. I'm running 1.48f and I have to click on the message before
the attachment flag appears.
Hi
I've finally taken the plunge and decided to register my evaluation copy of
TB.
I was just curious - the registration page says:
The Bat! is "try-before-you-buy" software. Registration gives you
the right to use The Bat! after the 30-day trial period, receive
technical support and use
Does anyone know what the "features available only for registered users"
are?
The happy feeling that you paid for excellent software, and
thus further its development ;-)
A - I feel so much better now...

Hi
This is probably going to sound like a silly question, but...
I have recently set TB up on my system, and when I installed it, I decided
to set the program directory to something other than Program Files\The Bat!
I then put my accounts in a completely separate location. So I ended up with
I hope this one hasn't been answered previously - If so, I must have missed
it.
I have set TB up so that attachments are stored in a separate directory, not
as part of each email. If I go and change that setting, will TB
automatically go and attach all those attachments to existing emails, or
Hi
This is not causing any major problems, but I
thought I'd just check to see if anyone has a solution.
Whenever I receive an email in TBcontaining a
link, and then double click on that link to display it in IE5, the page doesn't
get reloaded (if I've previously visited it).In both
