I say put more money in decent public transportation so that we can all share
the cost more equitably. That's one lesson we could learn from the european
countries. Their gas is $6-8/gal.
Here in southern oregon, we have no choice but to drive. Crappy public
transportation at best.
America would be better off if Greater Los Angeles would fall off of

Public transportation in Houston is dangerous. You are more likely to
get robbed or worse waiting on a bus here. And at night, some of the
bus stops are in unpopulated areas and are dark. Terrible things could
happen to you or to someone that you love.

transportation in particularly good condition--it was dirty and half the time
the air conditioning didn't work. But whose fault is that? I really don't know.
