We stopped in Alpine on our way to Terlingua and saw Blair and Jean in the
apartment behind Jean’s bookstore. Blair insists on defying all odds and
continues to improve. He is out of the wheelchair and uses a walker. Although
he will never be the same as he was, he seems in good spirit

The Southwestern Region of the NCRC will provide a scholarship for a
Arizona or New Mexico caver that wishes to attend the NCRC National Seminar
being held in Mentone Alabama, May 19 - 26. The scholarship will cover the
registration fee for the seminar of $599.00. All other cost must be
