David, If this was intended as link for Bob Thrun, according to Gary Storrick there was no obituary in the paper (not uncommon). Bob Thrun also lived in Maryland, not Connecticut, and was 77 at the time of his passing, not 88, and just died, not in 2008… Wm From: Texascavers
