That was a really fun weekend until I burned my eye.
Had that happened at the bottom of the pit in Cueva Cuchillo, I would have
likely died of a heart-attack with about 6 cavers watching.

Didn't Rolf's girlfriend (Dr. MD ??) patch your eyeball after you tried to
use your carbide headlamp to weld your eyelids shut - or something -

Mark, dream of the day when that device is perfected, miniaturized, and
cheap enough for the "average" caver to buy (most cavers are above
average, of course, and one of them may invent/perfect that device).

DARPA is interested in underground mapping in a manner that would be of

even show as old legacy units on the Garmin web site. I think i paid
$350.00 for them back in the day!
