I have heard some folks comment that they do not want to pay for food at the
event. Probably why they choose not to pay at all. I would say to let the park
office collect an entrance fee per family before you can enter. Then have TCR
collect an event fee in camp minus the facilities costs.
OT subjects become like the spouse or person that likes to continually talk
about anything. Kind of an oral memory dump. Important stuff looses focus in
all the background noise. I suspect that is why Facebook was developed.

Driving is very serious business in Texas today. I recently sat in on a
criminal trial where an individual felt he could flee from a police officer
trying to stop him. That is a felony. A DWI today is very costly and an
offender is booked into jail on the first offense. Even medication can
And, if you think that is worrisome, consider this.
A pandemic response bill currently making its way through the Massachusetts
state legislature would allow authorities to forcefully quarantine citizens in
the event of a health emergency, compel health providers to vaccinate citizens,

Back in the 60's and 70's we used to consume a lot of beer on long drives to
caving activities. Drinking and driving was an accepted fact of life then and
today no one can honestly say that DWI is a socially acceptable behavior. The
previous reply seems to point this out. It is almost 2010 and
Caves in general are managed much better today than in the past through the
efforts of the NSS and local caving organizations as well as other
environmental issues. Native Americans have been concerned about growth and
expansion since Europeans arrived. It is not likely to stop.

For those folks considering putting down $1000's on expensive digital

Well stated and nothing further needs to be stated on this subject. State laws

Well, I disagree. The TSA should have a lot more to offer cavers than some
publication. If I remember correctly the Texas Caver was, for a long time, not
the responsibility of the TSA to produce. Does one belong to the NSS only for
its publications?
