Scientific name Reduviidae, also called Assassin Bug, Blood Suckers, and a few other things. Traditionally the South Texas/Northern Mexico varieties did not carry Chagas. With many more human vectors these days the odds are good that the disease could have been transported here by now. --Ediger On
