Another approach would be to process the Compass data with Survex to
get a .3d file, then use that .3d file in your Therion .th file with
something like:

I have not tried OpenOffice so far.
But I doubt it will work.
For example there is a difference in / and \ which is not coded in the macros
so far.
But anyhow I will give it a try.

I have an excel macro tool which I use for such tasks.
I have done this for my own and I'm using this Excel tool as my "database" for
survey data.
You can import different formats like compass, walls, therion, mnemo,
pockettopo into Excel.
And you can export to formats for Therion, Wal
