The tree display on the main menu filter is EXACTLY what I was looking
for. Many thanks, :)

Thanks Wolfgang,
I may just wait to see if some kind of pattern emerges that helps
narrow down the potential cause of this. We have multiple users
accessing multiple TW's, but any given TW may only be modified 4 or 5
times a month. Or, I guess I can work with a test copy of a TW using

I've just tried this, and can confirm that section links don't work in IE.

The Breadcrumbs plugin almost works the way I was looking for though
the index menu doesn't reset to where the page is within the
hierarchy. Each click adds the current page on top of all previously
opened pages.

I'm afraid I'm clueless - everything's working just fine here on Ubuntu.
What happens if, instead of copying the respective TiddlyWiki document
between partitions, you e-mail it to yourself?
Maybe Fedora does odd things with file metadata, similar

Wow, I wasn't expecting such a quick response, and it seems the both
of you provided some good suggestions for me to investigate. Thanks!
I'll look into the suggestions and may have some follow-ups if I run

As wolfgang wrote, you can use the breadcrumbs plugin as your
navigational tool, and use SinglePageModePlugin in conjunction with
HistoryPlugin to see only one page at a time.
Simon Baird's SitemapPlugin is old and undocumented but I think is
worth reviving.
Find these plugins via TiddlyVault.

I really like the user-friendly aspect of TiddlyWiki, but I'd like to
customize it a bit. I'm new to TiddlyWiki and pretty amateur at
creating my own stuff, but I'm not afraid of looking at code.
If these are simple edits or options, a nudge in the direction to the
page to edit would suffice, :)

I like that - I'll add chkShowDecryptButtonInContent to my ConfigTweaks
tiddler right away.
Thanks, Lyall!

Not sure if this is of interest to anyone, but I'll put it out there
anyway! I've created a basic adaptation of TiddlyWiki to use at work.
The main purpose is to use it for reporting to clients on the status
of a project, and recording minutes and suchlike. I've blogged about
it (and it can be dow
The new version includes a new option which, if enabled, shows the
Decrypt button in the tiddler contents, rather than the encoded
tiddler contents, prior to decryption.
A word of warning, if you edit the tiddler, whilst encrypted, you will
lose the contents.
Also note, that the 'decrypt' button
whoops.. realised I've made some other changes since that might effect
the code I posted above.
Should be "tiddlytagmindmapobject" where it says "ttmm_current".
I'd recommend backing up any changes before applying this fix. If
there is no rush here should be a new version up by the end of the
week
Strange..
I just posted but it doesn't seem to have appeared.
I know exactly why your history plugin is not working and I've made a
fix for the next release. HistoryPlugin and TagMindMap both make use
of the function to display tiddlers however mine does it quite crudely
