Mark S. I agree with all you wrote. And I hear and see the frustration. In my own case, more observer than doer, I find the main Github very UNsatisfying to even read. IMO, we are locked into a "two-men-and-one-dog" problem ... the demands seriously ahead of fulfillment from lack of workers.
