I have added other options for the menus, there are options for a menu
using icons on the left, on the right, in the top left and the top right.
Aside from being able to toggle the menus and change their content I
haven't added much that the user can customize yet.

For the ordering at Left Menu Settings I suggest you this filter
$list filter='[prefix[Left Menu - ]nsort[order]]'
This way is easier to sort the order.

As an unrelated question, I am trying to get conditional view templates (

correctly in the contacts database I made and I am running into problems
where the template isn't being applied when a tiddler is transcluded.
