I know I may not get this but...
I get furious with this kind of security thinking, they are going to be more
exposed to risk because no one knows how to use modern tools and protection.
So I understand you did this ! Rename the HTML file to a txt file or Open
your preferred and up to date tiddlyw
Good idea - if I had access to both versions on the same computer!
This is going to be a paper, pen and highlighter project. That's why
I was looking for some kind of recommendations on a priority listing
(first things first).

You could try diff'ing the two files (if you don't have access to a good
diff tool, you could use some wiki engine with revision control).
My guess is that will not be too useful though, as the changes are
presumably extensive.

Well, I opened the current version in Linux Kedit and printed it out
(196 pages, printed 4-up - 49 sheets). The next step is starting the
compare, and deciding what changes can be made in what order. I will
be using a backup copy of the destination file (burned enough times
for that!). Wish me

Hmm. Perhaps -- if the interest is in organizations that are
impervious to change.

Is there any capability to scan documents into your systems? Still may
not be practical, but stands a better chance than typing the changes
in.

That's a pretty ancient version then. (Though I'm not sure whether the
Version tiddler there reports the TiddlyWiki version or that of the GTD
adaptation.)

A contract I work on is similar. The 'normal people' are fearful of
the 'IT' people. Its not a software issue, its about the people. If
only 'IT people' were like TwPeople ...
Your company sounds like an interesting case study for an
organisational change project.

Sorry for the confusion guys. Yes I meant GTD TiddlyWiki and the
version is 1.06 per the Version tiddler. The current version at the
GtD TW website is 2.1.3 (from 1/2007)
No, I can't get email of any kind from outside the organization; with
or without attachments.
I agree it isn't very realistic

So
Can you get e-mail attachments? Mail a TW?
Do you mean 'GTD TiddlyWiki'?
