On Mar 22, 00:00 UT, both of our Datum 9390 model GPS receivers/time code generators started producing erroneous day of year and actual year values. Instead of day 81, it said 96 on the front panel, but produced day 196 in the IRIG-B time code. They also reported the year as 2007.

Downloaded the manual not too helpful with respect to the schematic. Further its not clear to me one way or another that the antenna was actually the first down converter as had been the case with older systems. A bit of a clue maybe is that the antenna could be up to 350 ft away from the rcvr. But

My own Trimble Bullet, and others as far as I can tell by reading this list, is not very sensitive in general. I get much better results with a Symmetricom than with the Bullet. For that matter, I also see more satellites with a cheap mag-mount GPS active antenna than with the Bullet. It is working
