Magnus, If you replace your RG-58 with RG-6 TV coax, your loss issues will disappear. The difference in impedance (75 ohms instead of 50) is not enough to cause problems. Adapters to the pre-fitted F connectors are readily available. And it's not expensive. Regards, Peter
