I've been trying to nail down a tutorial on programming the CC2420 but without
luck.
I don't want to just learn the stack as implemented in TinyOS because it hides
the very information I'm looking for. Neither do I want to spend hours reverse
engineering the stack source.
Any links gratefully
Hi!
We are working with MIB510 and mica2 motes. We need to know, when the motes
are comunicating with the base, how can we print the transmition paramenters
info.
We've realised that dbg only works in a TOSSIM app, and we can't show in the
screen these parameters...can you help us?
Thanks!

What information are you looking for exactly? We have the draft version of
TEP126 which intends to describe the workings of the CC2420 and how the
stack is implemented in 2.x, along with comments and recommendations about
how to add/remove/change functionality. This document is located at:
Invent a TOS_Msg containing the parameters of interest and send it to the host.

Hello,
I have a problem in using BlockWrite.erase() in TinyOS-1.x on my
TelosB motes. I have a volume containing multiple sectors. Each time I
call BlockWrite.erase(), it seems only the first sector of the volume
is erased. Data on the other sectors remain uncleaned. Is this a bug

Hello,
Anyone knows the reasons that make the transceiver CC2420 to consume
more current receiving than transmitting.
Thanks,
Joan

Hi Hugo,
Your guess is right. I read one axis, then wait readDone() to start another
axis. Your explanation let me understand what caused this problem. However,
I still cannot understand how to use accelStream. I list my old methods as
follows. Please help find how to solve the problem.

Thank you Phil,
I wonder what is exactly the operations make the reception to be very power
hungry. It is just the demodulator?, I thought it is the same circuitry for
modulation and demodulations, as also the frequency synthesizer. Additionally
TX usually consumes more due to the need of
Hi Fangming,
You don't have to wait for a readDone() to read the other, you can call both
Reads because accelconfigp has an arbiter that prevents simultaneous access.
It is also better that you call them both because that way the sensor is not
turned off between the two readings, doubling your

Hi,
Is it possible to Line Power the motes(CrossBow Micaz motes) with the help
of adapters? Is it possible to configure them in such a way that when there
is power available on the line, the motes can draw power from them and when
there is no power available, the motes draw power from the
