Dear Faisal,
You can use MultiHopLQI with SurgeTelos. If you want to change the
base station address from the default (which is 0) to 9:
(a) in MultiHopLQI.nc set the variable BASE_STATION_ADDRESS to 9
(b) also change line 145 from

It took me longer to find this than re-write, but see:

basically you have a small number of messages/sec to spread around.

Hi, I've a question to suppose... I'm using MultiHop in /moteiv/tos/lib/MultiHopLQI and i try to understand code inside. I've looked that in MultiHopLQIM is used the lqi field of the TOS_Msg but in the definition of the TOS_Msg structure I haven't found it! Further, in MutliHopLQIM this field
You may be looking at the wrong TOS_Msg def...
The 'regular' one is in tos/types/AM.h and is used
for mica2 and UART messages. The lqi field is part
of the 802dotWhatever header used by micaz and others.
See local versions in, e.g., platform/micaz/AM.h.
Sorry, but I dunno who should fill it in.
Hi, thanks for the advice, I tried with Delta and Trawler and everything worked. The problem with the other applications was that I wasn't using the node 0 as root. Moreover, I can see it's necessary to wait some time while the routing tree is being built, but eventually it works great.Joe
I'm trying to set up a multip-hop collection tree with tmote motes. I am using component MultiHop (moteiv/tos/lib/MultiHop), but I can't get it to work. The node attached to the USB is constantly sending a packet to the computer, regardless what the other motes are sending. Apart from that, using
Have you tried using Delta and Trawler?
Note that the mote connected to the PC must either be node id 0 or
must communicate with a program on the host that informs the mote that
it is the base station (such as Trawler)

I'had the same problem..and now (today) it seems to work! Try to verify that UartDetectC recognize that mote was connected via USB... I found this problem. Perhaps one other problem was to strictly verify that base station don't comunicate with the sender mote...in one test after two minutes I
