I took the 4AP for about 4months - did help alittle with the fatigue, but the
side effects were extreme muscle weakness. I was about to no longer be able to
walk so I stopped it & about 2 weeks later my muscles were much better.

Hmmm, nice reminder but old news.
My parents never let us drink soda, except ginger ale
when we were ill
I am so grateful to them and my grandparents
for their whole foods, real food approach.
I stopped drinking soda over 30 years ago,
except for the occasional nostalgia comfort
of ginger ale
Thanks for the affirmation,Jenna!
And thank you for mentioning Ambien CR!
My best friend has sleep difficulties and
I will mention this as something she can
explore.
Congrats on being down to just one RX!
that's the ticket!

Hi Akua,
I have to agree with you. I read what you write all the time and you are very
hopeful. I am also. I know that you have to find what works for you. I have
done that also. The only RX I take is Ambien CR. I have had sleep problems
most of my life. But once TM hit in 2000 things got
I saw a news clip a few weeks ago regarding memory loss and bladder control
meds. It refers to "older" patients, however, my worse loss of memory time

coincidence, but the FDA is making the makers add memory loss to

What's wrong with me? Fatigue is a 10 most of the time. Chronic
fatigue is truly a handicap. I I honestly feel that it's because
we both know that there is nothing that can be done for me. That
we're both waisting our time.

Have you tried Amantadine? I had terrible fatigue for 31/2 years & tried
Provigil & 4AP without sucess. only side effects as bad as the fatigue. I
started Amantadine the end of December & noticed a marked improvement in 2 days
& now generally no fatigue unless I am really stressed & p
I just read several notes discussing the fatigue some folks have and how using
the walkers, canes and such still makes it difficult to get around. I realize
that to a lot a people walking is very important, BUT...have any of you thought
of getting the small 4 wheeled scooters? They are light,
Regina,I have been exactly where you are now what a bummer. I too am
going to the "top" neuro in the area, but he no longer has time for me. In
fact I came in for an appointment and it wasn't with him anymore my year was
up and the diagnosis was TM/MS so now I am with his Nurse Practioner...
