I think that yes you MUST have a mammogram (and after 40 you're suppose to
get them every year). They are not something you'd want to do everyday but are
very important whether you have a family history or not. They tell you not to
have caffine before having one and trust me...do not have

Linda, if you remember the 70's and staying overnight to have a tumor removed
then you remember the old mamogram machines with the ballons. Not only did
they hurt, but I was always afraid the ballon would pop. Breast cancer
wouldn't have got me

This is not something I am proud of but I am now 55 and have yet to have a
mammogram. I have always done self breast exams and do not have fibrous
tumors so it is real easy to feel if there is something different.
