He's a doctor and hasn't had TM. He'll never know what you are experiencing.
It is what it is. You put that so well.
Have you talked to your GP about restless leg syndrome? You might also ask
your neuro about switching from Neurontin to Lyrica. I find that the Lyrica
works faster
