hi
On Tomat 3.2.1, I get the following error message. I was trying to use the
JavaMail package from sun.
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/mail/Message
When I tried the *exact* same code on a copy of Tomcat 4.0b1, it worked like
a champ. Any idea as to what is different about
something more intelligent when it comes
to the CLASSPATH.

hi,
I have to restart tomcat every time whenever the
smtp sever, which I used to send mail, is restarted.
I used mail scheduler to retreive mails and send
them at a certain period of time.Sometimes the smtp mail server is down, so
tomcat prompts me: "javax.mail.MessagingException:un

stuff a bit time consuming and awkward so Imade this .reg file and it
worked for me. You just have to double-clickit andit will do it
automatically create the registry entries.

I've set up Tomcat successfully under Solaris,

I have some setting wrong, but what? How can I find
out, or has anyone experienced a similar problem?
