Tomcat doesn't redistribute JSSE because of Licensing restrictions. However, this is mostly irrelevant if you are using Apache2+mod_jk. When I download Apache2, it comes with a full mod_ssl. And certainly, the restrictions shouldn't be on the jakarta.apache.org site (please provide a URL, so that
