Hi guys,
From day 1 I managed to get my 2 squeezebox touches working straight
after unboxing them. I installed the server onto my laptop where my
music is stored and it worked really well.
Last night I had to rebuild my laptop and reinstall the server. Now,
the touches say they can see my

I have my touch connected to a usb hard drive and plays fine most of

In a test on tweakers.net (dutch site, sorry) they noticed there's a

Absolutely, and looking forward to it.
But until SSD's are more price competitive with USB drives it's not a
viable option

A sheevaplug will be a big step up from running the internal server...
My recommendation: if you can possibly swing it an external server is a

Hi John,
could you tell me where can I found instructions and what a big step

320 gb Iomega eGo USB = $80
32 gb SSD = $180
For many users SSD's don't have the capacity (at any price) for ones

From my listening experience running the internal server playing WAV
files offers about the same SQ as external server streaming flac (flac
decoding on Touch). Thus external server streaming PCM (from whatever
source) sounds better than playing WAVs on internal server. Other
