Idea , install squeezeboxserver on a computer conect the sb2.
Change the desired options and have a look in the prefs file there, to
see what changes ?

Ive had my squeezebox touch for a few weeks but have just started
fiddling with it in regards to web radio.
Im trrying to access shows from the following -

How do i go about streaming this through my squeezebox???

Which firmware are you running? When in doubt, reset everything.
Reboot routers and switches and DHCP servers. Factory reset the
player.
Make sure mysb.com is reachable from your network. From some
experimenting that I was doing yesterday, it appears that proper setup
and use of the SP based

them from mysqueezebox.com.
But my controller doesn't show "choose players" as an option.

My touch still sees two of the players connected to mysqueezebox.com
So i connect to each player, click My Music. It asks if I want to
connect to my local library.
It spins for a while, then fails.
Lovely.

Ok, here's the controller. Doesn't see any of my players that are on
mysqueezebox.com.
So I go to advanced > networking > switch to mysqueezebox.com
and it just bumps. Nothing.

I'm just so disappointed. This is the very basic of basic features. I've
tried with two independent routers now, no luck. I'm resorting to
installing a local server again on a new computer just to get the
functionality back. These players don't just fail to connect- they
dont' error at all, they p
I don't think it's so much klunky as it is buggy. I've seen an
increasing number of connection problems with the Touch lately.
Network connection problems, mysb.com problems, problems connecting to
local servers. The older ip3k players just work.

I'm very dissapointed. As a beta tester and a long time user, I really
thought we ironed out these issues. Let me set up my dillemma:
I had a local server.
I have 5 devices that connect- 2 receivers, a controller, a touch and a
radio.
They all work great. Rhapsody & local music.

I did something this morning to the Touch when I played some music and
now the album display is not showing when the file is being played.
Can't work out what I did. The album art was displaying since August.
It's there when I look at the 'Album' list but when I play the CD, the
album art does
not just a touch issue.
Same problem on controller and radio.
This is not a smooth transition to mysqueezebox.com

For whatever reason the software button "factory default settings"
wasn't quite doing it. I held the hard reset button for 15 seconds,
connected to a wired network (finally) and then did a update back to
the latest version, and now it works with wireless.
What do you suppose happened?

I have had my squeeze working with my local library with no troubles for
quite a few months. Rhapsody worked fine.
Today I needed to take my server down, so I moved all my players to
mysqueezebox.com first. It was working, except the touch didn't show it

Sure seems the issue is with the HomePlug if the Touch correctly
connects to the router when directly connected to the router.
Can you try a different device on the HomePlug to see if the problem
persists?

before but I get an error message now. It works with a router in the
equation.
Has something been changed in the latest drivers?
If so can I get back
The Touch was $277 this morning on Amazon, but has gone back to $299 in
the afternoon. Amazon keeps changing their prices frequently.

Is it possible to set up a Touch with the IR remote instead of the
touchscreen? If so, you could _try_ to do it using the Duet remote's
infrared feature. It's buried under Settings > Advanced > Factory Test
> Infrared. That takes you to a simulated SB remote that you could use
to enter the network
Note that after changing tags with mp3tag (or any other tagging program)
you have to do a clear-and-rescan on Squeezebox Server to get the
corrected metadata to show up in SBS.

Hi,
The guys at Furutech also advise to leave the DAC on, so I'll just
leave both on. The Touch won't play songs after using the power button
(so not pulling the plug out), but this workaround is just fine.

SB Touch? I managed to get in two times, but mostly the connection if
refused or the device not found, while I can ping it.

At Michael's suggestion I will certainly let Society of Sound know
about these defficiences.
As indicated in my earlier post I do struggle with Tags although I am
learning more day by day. Is there a way I can retag all of these
albums
Bittersweet has various tagging issues: some tracks have ALBUMARTIST, some
have YEAR, but only one has GENRE.
Ten Lives: can't see the spelling differences. But it's missing many tags
too.
IMHO as good as their music selection is, the file handling isn't up to
par. You best let them know abo
David Rhodes has been PG's guitarist for 25+ years. He might easily have
been listed as one of the SO's co-componists.
I'll re-download some of those albums and check their tags. I think I
remeber Bittersweet to be one of those albums with broken tags.
