Hi - I have this problem with two players - my own and a friends.
I have the Touch connected to a Windows Home Server - my fried a
ReadyNas Duo server.
When I choose to play a lossless album (FLAC/ CUE, APE/CUE), it starts
playing for 5 seconds, then stops. Buffers. And then starts playing
This problem is fixed in the latest beta of the server:-)

I've been busy most of the day and just picked up on your latest posts
at midnight here. More tomorrow but meanwhile, after a
simultaneous/sequential PC shutdown and restart, modem router shutdown
and restart and reloading SBX Server on the PC (almost) everything is
now
so did your music all scan OK? Were you able to exclude the extentions I
mentioned or did you temporarily turn off the virus scanner.
Double check that your mysqueezebox.com credentials are entered
properly in SbS Settings Mysqueezebox.com tab.

My wish is to have multi cd sets displayed as follows:
Artist (Chuck Mangione)
Album (Live at the Village Gate)
The above is a 2 disc set. I am using dbpoweramp to rip to FLAC. Spoon,
the developer instructed me to use the Disc 1/2 2/2 feature for multi
CD sets and use the 'Apply Number
I confirm the same problem using digital connection. Song indicates it
is playing but no audio output. Seems only an off/on cures the
problem.

My experience with treat multi-disc albums as single album has been to
use separate directories (though probably not required) for each disc.
Each disc is tagged with the IDENTICAL ALBUM title. Each disc is
tagged with a unique DISCNUMBER tag.

Yes, it requires a complete rescan, so the server launches one
automatically if you change that setting.

Correct. This is the only way to place all tracks into a single
folder. My trial 2 disc set of Chuck Mangione Live at the Village Gate

All works well, but... In My Music, the track list for an album comes
up fine, but when you Play a track- the first track or any track- a
different song plays. The song that plays is identified correctly. I
