It WORKS! I now have a jive_alsa that outputs S24_3LE. Before making this public I would like someone else to try it out. It should be someone that has an async DAC other than the HRT streamers, that doesn't work with the posted asound.conf file. If you are interested in testing this please

I use this as a leftover from my sb3 days the Touch psu is now powering my SB3 . http://www.ciaudio.com/products/VDCSB It is rated as 2.2 amps so I gues that powering USB drive is out, but it does not run hot at all so it has some margin in it. So more than2 amps is probably the lower limit of
