Finally decided to switch to WLAN on Touch. Once I did that, I was
forced to do factory reset and then Touch insisted that I upgrade.
Everything works fine, but I lost all my mods. Now, when I try to ssh
into it, I can't. I go "shn root@192.168.1.102", it says "Connection
refused".
Please help,
Does this work? I just got Touch and upgraded to 7.5.3 r9283. 16/44
ALAC works fine but 24/96 is just little clicking sounds. Tried via
internal and external DACs.
Thanks

Yes. Shielded ethernet cable is not very common in the US in
residential installs (at least what I'm told) but seems to be more
common in Europe. The issue (I'm told) is that it is

You want to list the albums in the file system and the albums in the
squeezeboxserver database. Then compare the 2 lists.
To get the list from the filesystem, you can use "dir /s" with some
other options to only list directories (I'm assuming you have a
directory for each album). Getting a lis

It's got me beat as well, FWIW ;-) .
Today it ran for nearly 4 hours before losing the 'Now Playing' info.

Thanks. Yeah both getting ip addresses via auto dhcp from a wired

No, I'm U.S., unfortunately. My price range would be as cheap as
possible. :) But seriously, something up to 100 USD would be ideal if
that is feasable.

That's a strange one, and I don't have any ready answers for you. This
is a longshot, but could it be an IP address conflict? How are the
Touch and eee box getting their IP addresses?

Any help appreciated.
I just got a Asus eee box and have attached a WD 1tb ext HD by mounting
the drive in a folder. The set up is all wired. My aim is to use the eee

it works fine.
Problem is when SBS server scans the libra

Dave, I'm at a loss on your track info issue. In all of the various
