The nil issue is nothing new and happens whether the player is connected to SBS or MySB. I suspect it is a MySB error. Just change back the name of your player in the web UI. -- toby10 toby10's Profile:

hi guys just reporting that I'm having the same issue with my sbx Radio since a few days, I guess it started after an upgrade. In addition to the name changing to 'nil', I also find it being frozen in some way, can't use presets, some menu items are missing. If that occurs I completely switch it

Hello, each time I make a change on some tag in a music file on my usb HDD (typicaly for correcting a miskake for example Bach instead of Baach) the modification is not taken into account by my squeezebox. I have to erase the file .squeezbox on the HDD. Is there another solution? Thanks

It seems to be a European problem. I normally have msb.com for internet radio, and switch back to local server for music. It could be coincidence but problems seem to be associated with recent updates to 7.6.1 Whatever ... it's fallen over 4 or 5 times in the last 48 hours. Who knows???!!!

It has to be mysqueezebox.com causing this. I saw it just recently with my Radio. I had my server shut down for about an hour and the Radio must have connected to mysb.com, got its new name (Nil), and when the server was restarted the name was then shown on the local server. -- JJZolx

I am trying to setup SBT at work and the screen endlessly displays Connecting to mysqueezebox.com. I got a wire capture and it looks like SBT is attempting a TCP connection to fab4.squeezenetwork.com over port 9000 and a reply never comes back. Darn! My IT blocks all non-critical ports so this

I mean when selecting a song/album from the Ipod's key command in portrait, the command is recognised but nothing happens, switch to landscape and it works. The command responce is more consistant in landscape. -- magicj1
