Removing ID3v2 tags from FLAC files seems awkward in mp3tag. The only
way I've found is delete tags then undo, and it'll only rewrite the
Vorbis/FLAC tags.

cut and paste .
you cut all tags and then paste them back .
provided you have set mp3tag to not write id3v
I have the same problem with my SqueezeBox Touch - installed 7.7 on
server, installed latest software updates on the Touch, restarted it,
etc.
Anyone an idea ?

Successfully connected SB touch to Outlaw R2150 USB. Works 90% of the
time and sounds great. But occasionally the sound degrades into a
strange sort of tinny, robotic distorted version. Sometimes it fixes

After the latest software update (7.7.0 r9550), I lost all internet
stations from my country (Denmark). When I go into the menu for
Internet Radio-Local Stations I am now apparently living in
Ireland(?) and there seems to be nowhere to switch country?!? The
account I am using is registered
As far as I know the local stations are listed by interrogating your ip
address. So, for some reason you appear to be in Ireland. Have you
changed isp provider recently?

There has been some problems with my internet connection and I might
have gotten a new IP adress in the process. BUT - it is still very much
a danish IP. It is also recognized as such on google or mysqueezebox.com
(it gives We have detected that you are in a different country than you
have
Create a free www.TuneIn.com account, enter your local zip code in
profile.
Add TuneIn App on MySqueezeBox.com, enter TuneIn login info onto App.
Now your local stations in Internet Radio Local are whatever you
entered in TuneIn.

Be careful with zip codes at tune in :) they are assumed to be US , use
the other address setting to get localized, if your non -US .
My zip code in Linköping is the same as a the little town Mott in North
Dakota , got me very very confused a while .

I'm about to get grado headphones with a fiio e7 headphone amp. Hire
should I wire this up? Should I use the analogue outs of the touch to
the fiio or from the phono out... the fiio has its own dac but not sure
how it compares to the Touch's dac. How should I hook this up for the
best sound.

If the analog outs of the Touch are connected to any amp (obviously via
RCA cables), then the Touch internal DAC will be involved.

Just curious, how do you tell mp3tag NOT to write id3 tags to FLAC
files? I didn't see such an option within the Mp3tag options, tags
dialog settings.

Mp3tag will not write ID2 tags to Flac files. If there are ID3 already
present then it will leave them alone, but it

i.e. To remove the ID3v2 in Mp3tag, highlight the files and then do
Ctrl-X, Ctrl-V. Or, you can re-encode the files again in Flac and
they'll be removed.

Of course the OP hasn't stated yet if that's actually the problem he has
with those files.

Logitech apparently changed their mind and sent me return authorization
paperwork last week. Next question is how long its going to take for me

Mnyb-I'm using a XP computer to rip CDs to flac files on a big USB hard
drive connected to that computer and copy those files to
Make sure that you start the internal server on the Touch and that it
scans the files (have patience it is slow) and then use the music menus
like artist and album when it's finished .
Note that the music folder option is blocked while it's still
scanning try album ,
