Consider this .
Async USB may be the best interface ever if properly implemented .
But spdiff and TOS is not to shoddely done in a good DAC either .
There is a lot of well implemented work arounds to the inherit
weaknesses in those connections .
Can anyone be expected to hear any difference
Arrived yesterday and very impressed!

You have 2 choices.
1. Install using the Touch settings - advanced - applet installer - BBC
Radio
2. Enable the BBC iplayer plugin in your installed LMS server
Both have pretty much the same functionality - 1. works when you are
connected vi mysqueezebox.com, and 2. works when you are
many thanks for your help.
I have installed BBC radio by going into advanced settings. This allows
me to listen to all BBC stations live, but how can I listen to previous

You should have a menu option named 'BBC Radio' - open this. At the top
is the first option - Listen Live. below this there is a list of BBC
stations. Select one - you should then see another listing oof
weekdays - open one to get programmes for that day.
If you scroll down in the day list

I use my TOUCH as a stand alone player for SD cards and USB sticks.
I just updated my firmware to 7.7.1 and found that when I switch off
the power conditioner after listening, I need to select:

It then asks me to select my network connection.

I run 7.7.1 on my Touch, I unplug it all the time, plug it back it,

Is your router name (SSID) a unique name so your Touch isn't trying to
connect to your neighbors WiFi?

To avoid an update just swipe screen L to R, should take you to the

Updating the SBT appears to go on without knowing which LMS is running,
I think.
03/20 I Downloaded LogitechMediaServer-7.7.2-33893.exe and installed
it.
On that very moment my SBT used FW 7.7.2-r9558.
The combination LMS 7.7.2-33893 with SBT 772-r9558 appeared to work on
03/20 and 03/21, also
I've had an AudioEngine D1 plugged into a USB2.0 hub and thence into the
Touch, and it has been working very well for 44.1kHz ripped CDs and
24/96kHz FLAC downloads. Today I tried to play a low quality stream
from a local radio station and got a Pinky and Perky impression.
Nevertheless, the USB
Hi Rudolf,
it sounds like you might be having two independent issues, one relating
to to the network drive and one relating to the LMS versions. I think we
need to separate these out and work on them one by one, otherwise you
will go crazy trying to figure out what is caused by what.
