Running a "two-hop" wireless setup such as yours greatly increases the
chance that you will have transmission issues. As suggested earlier,
try temporarily _wiring_ your server PC to your router. Also, check
Windows power management to be sure your server is not set to go into
standby/hibernate

I read through the entire thread and did not understand all the
disucssion, as I don't know linux. If I understood it correctly, Jean
created a NTP client which requires downloading, some edits to
Just found option for my wifi adaptor that allows computer to turn it
off to save power. Not sure if that could be the problem but I turned
this option off. I would assume it would only apply to bttery power but
I'm up to trying anything at this point.

Sorry for the delay. I'm running every wireless. Music library is on
my laptop mostly Apple lossless. Had same on my previous Dell laptop -
which I still have a works fine when I use that for LMS.
I've talked with HP support. All they could think of is upgrading my
wireless adaptor driver w
"Direct Streaming" means stream goes from station to player and not
through PC - so PC has nothing to do with rebuffering. Without more
info on the station being played, type of player etc. -
the issue is local network, router or internet connection if there is
no transcoding or syncing or no P
Try it with the pc wired to router ? still rebuffering ?

I tried this before without luck but just redid the "not compatible with
Windows 8" program. Ran it for XP. Seems to be running (fingers
crossed)!!!
